Seniors even I need help regarding age limit for CSS. Till what age can one go for CSS. Secondly, if a person is 22 years old, till what year can she appear for the exam. And the age limit would be judged at the time of the submission of the form( i-e in that year) or the next year when an aspirant has to take the exam. I would be grateful for your reply, thanks!

It is not like that. You have to appear in exams even in one paper and surely you can apply for CE 2015, incase if you do not have any age related issues.

Age limit,as we all know is 28 years and from age 21 to 28, one can avail his/her 3 chances.cut off date for age calculation would be 31st december for that year.

Okay, Fairuff thank you for your response. If we take the upper limit, can you please tell me that a person must be 28 at the time of the submission of form i-e in October or the next year while taking the exam? If this confusion is cleared I might be able to calculate the year till I am eligible to appear(i-e if I plan not to appear this time)....or if there is an age calculator on this forum, can you please direct me to that page? Thanks!

No,the case here is different. Let me explain it via an example,i am 28 yrs and 11 month at the submission time and my birth month is november, so it means that i would be 29 yr n 1-1/5 month on 31st december, because that is the cut off date for age calculation. So,now, it makes me ineligible and fpsc would not allow me to appear in exam. But,if i am a govt employee,i can avail the age flexibilty benefit.i.e,extra 2 years.
