Thumbs up

I am going with same optionals as they were in CE-2014.

1. Political Science (Only for intelliegent minds)
2. Indo-Pak History (Only for those who believe in memorizing whatever they see)
3. Economics (Only for those who have zeal, passion and confidence)

Some important points to remember while appearing in Competitive Examinations:

1. Believe in your self
2. Make decisions according to your interests and passion
3. Dont be over confident
4. Dont pay heed to the so-called scoring trend while choosing optionals
5. Go for the out of the box material and solutions

It sees you've opted Persian so I'd like to suggest you that you should prepare it with full zest and zeal especially must practice to translate Urdu and English stuff into Persian. Do it on daily basis and get it evaluated from teacher who hold command over said Language. There are some topics which are very important as per exam point of view like Sabak and its types, movements, topics on Iqbal etc so you should be capable enough to translate them into Persian. Don't you rely merely on the option of English because as a matter of fact, examiner can ask to attempt into Persian, as per rule.

Nevertheless, its for your own good if you practice in both English and Persian.

Stay blessed.

Profound regards,
RMKamran

Mine optional are:
psychology, persian ,punjabi and business administration
@RM Kamran:
from which book you're preparing persian? do suggest me as well
Thanks
Well Persian is a language and it needs deep understanding of basics like grammar. Its very easy but needs in-depth know-how of basics. I am taking coaching from Prof. Rasheed Bukhari so now Alhumdulillah it quite easy for me to comprehend things but yet much practice is required to get sound proficiency over it. But, you can also yourself prepare it with consistent hard work.

As far as books are concerned, I am preparing from following books:

1. Gulzar-e-Farsi by Prof. Rasheed
2. Iqbal-e-Farsi by Prof. Rasheed
3. Persian CSS solved papers (part 1) by JWT. Part 2 would be available soon in the market.
.

Stay blessed.

Profound regards,
RMKamran.

Persian can fall you to mighty 170 provided you get in love with it. Your winning point is its practice. Do it more and more and then you shall witness its miracle, IAT.

Best of luck and remember me in your prayers.

Profound regards,
RMKamran.

Along with intelligence & hard + smart work, in my opinion, the most imortant thing, required to become a CSP is having a "balanced approach". You can also call this as "wisdom" or "rationality" which, obviously, comes with time-no shortcuts for sure. Certainly, there always exist some exceptional people but they are exceptionally rare. So, obviously it is not wise to risk 1/3 (i.e. 33.333%) of your chances, hoping that you might be one of those exceptionally rare people. Even if you are, still, not every one is lucky enough like Yasir Pirzada.
