Well Ammar doinng MS is a good option but don't you think MS in the morning and tuition in the evenings still lands you in the same scenario as that of your private job in terms of time consumption?(I doubt the "do din classes hon gi")

Since doing MS from a prestigious university like UET is itself demanding as the credit hours and courses, assignments, exams and finally thesis may land you many sleepless nights dear while you ought to be burning the midnight oil for CSS preparation!

There is one advantage though, the MS Courses may aid you in the Optional Subjects' Preparation, but how many subjects will they aid will depend on your choice of optional subjects.

But still before you even buy the admission form, just consult a UET MS Graduate of the same course to get an insight of the workload in the two year tenure.

Well your point is valid but let me clarify few things UET taxila has MS classes in evening after 3:30 or 40.and classes are on 2 days and maximum 3 days. I am a graduate from uettaxila and my friends are doing MS from UET Taxila. I am not 100% sure about the workload but i will suely discuss it with MS students.

I don't think that MS courses will help in optional preparation but the subjects i am teaching to my students are very helpful for me as i am teaching A levels physics and physics is my optional. .
I only teach maximum 4 hours and that gives me good income. I have plan in mind that i will give extra time to my students on Saturday & sunday and 2 days chutti in weekdays..
But brother this is only plan because i will definitely consult MS fellows and secondly if there response is good for methen i have to qualify test and interview (ab mjhe awaein to nai rakh lien gey .process se to guzarna ho ga)..

Lakin main ye soch rha hoon k for safe side uet taxila mein part time MS mein admission le loon. Fees bhi kafi kam hai (29000 first semster and 19000 second) and uni bhi paas hi hai. Aagy admission ho ga ya nai ye to baad ki baat hai lakin ye plan kaisa hai. Aap logon ka aur ksi bhi experienced bandy ka sincere opinion chahiey. I think k MS private sector ki IT job jitna demanding and tough nai hota. 2 din classes hoon gi.
i think css is the best option rather doing MS.... it would be time consuming.... God forbid ager ap apna aik chance miss bhi kerty ho to apko itni knowledge to mil e jaye gi k kici bhi government job k liye easily apply ker sako.....

I had been going through from the same dilemma, all were same, even financial problem.

I graduated in Nov. 2014 as Computer Engineering student. later, I got job in PTCL as Technical Support Engineer, but at the same time I hadn't forgotten my long-standing CSS dream. Thus I resigned for job in last month. Now, I have started preparation for 2016 attempt.

I talked to my friend who is doing MS. He said k koi issue nai hota. MS easily manageable hai .aap 1 ya 2 courses opt kr lo. Workload kaafi kam ho jaey ga. Us ne 3 opt kiey huey hain....
I think k MS main admission leny se ye faida ho ga k banda apni field se dor nai ho ga. I mean to say that k kafi log ye kahty hain k job chorni nai chahiey kyn k agr aapka css clear na hoo to phr aap ka experience bhi kuch khaas nai hota and job milna difficult hai. Dusri taraf, agar banda MS kr rha ho to logon ko bta sakta hai k kya kr raha hai aur sath sath banda 1 degree gain kr le gaa. Wo wali baat to nai rahy gi k g aap ne css k liey apny years zaaya(waste) kr diey.

Well, the only concern was the work load and if, after discussion with your batch mates, you are convinced that you will get around 5 hours every day for CSS preparation, then I am positive that you should surely go for the MS option as you rightly said that your year will not go to waste in case, god-forbid, you are unable to clear CSS in the first attempt.

Add to it Anam's suggestion that even if you fail, your experience of CSS can help you in other exams of government service but I will humbly disagree with Anam that you solely concentrate on CSS since if the workload is manageable with MS and tuition(ie; you still get 5 hours atleast, daily for CSS prep) then I find no reason in you discontinuing your education.
