Exclamation Does Center Matters?

Hi

I am an aspirant of Css 2016 and I was told that centers make a lot of difference in your marking. I am a resident of Islamabad and a few of my friends and elders are advising me to give the papers from Sukkar or Hyderabad. Their logic behind this suggestion is that my paper has a chance of standing out in the eyes of examiners as most of the papers from these regions are of average standard. I am open to this suggestion but I have doubts whether its a good decision or not. I am sure a lot of the senior members or moderators would have knowledge about this. Please guide me in this regard.

Also do tell if the papers are checked/ marked regionally or are the all mixed and then randomly checked.

P.s. I need a quick response since I have to submit my application within the next 48 hours.
Regards

Not at all. It's nothing more than a misconception.
All that matters is your hardwork, your expression of writing, arguments and to the point answers.
Grammatical mistake is a biggest crime in CSS which leads many of the students towards failure.
So try to focus on above mentioned skills rather than center-matter-concept.

It's illogical. As the result for CE-15 is announced today, only 379 aspirants passed among the 12K+ who appeared. So, there are only 3 or 4 exceptional aspirants among every 100 on average. Don't think that there will be 50 out of 100 exceptional papers in Islamabad center and only 1 exceptional paper in 1000 papers in Sukkar. There will always be a huge number of average or below average papers and you will stand out everywhere if you are exceptional.

you have a strong point and im not saying that there will be 1 good paper in sukkar out of 1000, but i believe the ratio would be somewhere between 6 to 7 good papers out of 100 in islamabad and lahore and 2 to 3 good papers out of 100 in sukkar and hyderabad. This is what i think might be possible, not sure though. However if this is the case I think attempting from Hyd or sukkar should be to ones disadvantage. what do you think
