Default ''Confused in Selective or Complete Preparation''

Aslam o Alikum
I wanted to inquire that which course of action is more preferable regarding the preparation of all the subjects?

''Selective Topics or Complete Syllabus''

Now by selective i mean taking Past 10 years papers and then selecting topics before preparing them thoroughly,as i have seen some interviews of toppers like ''Sir Usman Ghumman'' he also suggested that
''one should take the above mentioned strategy because preparing whole
syllabus is going to take ages.''

Moreover when you are going through past 10 year papers you actually complete 80-90% syllabus i think !

And by complete syllabus i mean preparing every single meticulous topic

Also there are 6-7 months left so do consider this factor before answering .

Walikum salam,

You should do a complete preparation. You can cover the syllabus provided you work hard. Consulting past papers would help with preparation and might do the trick for you in a couple of subjects but not all. It is due to the new changes being made in the syllabus. So, the selective study won't yield good marks for you.

Read Dawn daily. Write 3-4 full-length essays per week and get them checked by a good teacher. Do practice precis paper as well.

Your proposed attempt shouldn't be just for granted and merely to test your aptitude. Your aim is to clear it. Make a time table and follow it daily. Appear in the mock exam of Kips or Jwt so that you could polish your final preparation before sitting in the exam.

Good luck.

Stay blessed.

Bro, Usman Ghumman had already attempted CSS once before, so selective topic studying is better if you're giving the CSS for a second or third time...in this way you can work on topics which you find difficult.

But in the first attempt one should cover the entire syllabus.
