Much reliance cannot be based on my response because I still have to cover a long way. Seniors could help you, but it looks like they have burden of work and tasks irl to deal with.
I was watching a interview of a CSS qualified officer where he advised to select constitutional law or mere law with political science (in case you want to select political science) or else the rest is upto you. Would you like to give us more clarification over your choice of occupational group so that other members can help you out to select the right type of subjects for you. If you are looking to join Foreign Services of Pakistan then International Law seems good. For US History, check out Sir Naveed Bhutto's notes.
