In case you don't claim any age-relaxation, this is supposed to be your last attempt.

last if age relaxation is not claimed being from Sheduled casts or from FATA

My DOB : 31 Oct 1984,
I will Turn 32 on up coming 31st oct, means I will remain 32 on 1st Jan 2017 where according to new rules 21 to 32 can apply for CSS,
I am from tribal area and fall in 21 to 32 category for age relaxation.
But my problem is online application for CSS exam, the webpage wont allow me my year of birth that is 84, the last year I can scroll or select up to is 85. What do i do ?

I hope i have explained my case clear enough for the lot of senior sensei on the forum to help me out here as time is running out, So enlighten me please or lend some mathematical sense to the IT department of FPSC.

Actually to be exact your age on 31st Dec 2016(CE-17's cut-off) will be [B]32 years 2 months 0 days[/B] old and that's actually [B]2 months beyond 32 years[/B]. Once you attain 32 its over for you.

There is no error in online application system but you are over-aged even with age relaxation claimed.

For now its 14 years if Rules remain the same it will be 14 years. Nothing can be said about such changes as of now.

For CE-2018, the cut off date will be December 31, 2017 and on this date one's age must not be greater than 30, not even a single day. And in your case, you are eligible to appear for the 2018 exam.

By CE-18's cut-off (31st Dec 2017) you'll be [B]30 years 9 months X days[/B] old and no more eligible for CSS without claiming age relaxation.

As your age will be [B]9 months beyond 30 years[/B] [B]so not eligible[/B].

[B]P.S. You are eligible for CE-17 though.[/B]

Increase in Qualification

Kindly tell me that how many chances are there of increase in qualifcation from 14 years to 16 years for CE-2018 ?

You can not depend upon chances. Until its official announcement even enhancement in age limit was a mere dream so don't depend on any chances.

Age Relaxation Suggestion

Asalam O Alaikum

I am a lecturer in Sukkur IBA, and 1990 born. How many tries do I have? Will I be able to achieve the relaxation of Government Employee or not, as I am employee of a university which doesn't count as a Government or Private sector, universities are autonomous.

Dear fellow members, Assalam o Alaikum. I would like to ask few questions regarding new policies of CSS Examination. I am studying B COM Part 1 & Part 2 combined from a Private University in Karachi. My exams will be completed in October 2017. I will get transcript before end of October, though I will get degree in late November or early December. Will I be eligible to apply?

I read on this forum that eligibility requirement is being increased from 14 years to 16 years. Will I be eligible? I am asking about CE-18.

Kindly also tell me about cluster based groups which will be introduced in new policy. From which year they will be implemented?

Kindly reply me. I will be very thankful for your help.

Inst such as FBR in BS-16, and if he wants to attempt for CSS but his age is 31 so can he claim further age relaxation? because in CE-17 maximum age is 30 so being a govt. employee, can he enjoy upper age relaxation? and upto how many years age relaxation can one govt. employee of BS-16 can avail????[/B]

Sorry,but on December 31,2018 you will be 30 years 11 months 3 days.So,you are not eligible.

If a person born in 1988 , will he be eligible for 2019 attempt

I am really sorry,you are eligible. The cut off date is normally 31 December.So you will be 30 year old on that date.Age has been relaxed up to 30 year.

Autonomous bodies are excluded from age relaxation criteria. So, NO, you won't be able to claim age relaxation with Sukkur IBA experience.

Regarding your age. By CE-20, you will be [B]29 years X months and Y days old[/B] (X and Y represent exact month and date that you didn't mention) years old and it will be your last chance without claiming age relaxation.

You have CE-18 to CE-20 at your disposal.

Sorry to inform you but deadline for CE-17 is over and you won't be apply for it even if you get your degree before 31st Dec 2016 because registration for CE-17 is closed now.

About new policies, such policies won't come into action until and unless officially announced. For now these are just proposals and nothing can be said until its official

Its till 14 years of educations and it will remain so until anything official is announced. For now these are just proposal in the air.

If you are serving in any Govt organization and you have an experience of 2 years and at the time of registration for CSS you are still employed, you can claim age relaxation up to 32 years of age.

Maximum age is 30 years but its for everyone and age relaxation is available up to 32 years of age for candidates who are in government service or belong to categories described in Rules 3 of CE Rules.

Sorry deadline for CE-17 registration is over and you can not apply now. Lat date online registration for CE-17 was 31st Oct 2016.

By CE-18's cut-off (31st Dec 2017) you will be 29 years 11 months 3 days old and it will be your [B]last chance[/B] without age relaxation claimed

Age Clarification

Dear All,
As of now (12-01-2017) I am 30 years 5 months old. According to new rule, will I be able to appear in Css exam 2018 as I have been working in government institute i.e. National Agricultural Research Council since July 2012. Will I be entitled the age relaxation provided in new rule??

why Autonomous bodies and other semi autonomous bodies employees are not entitled to age relaxation in fpsc:?

Yes you can appear in CE-2018. As a government servant if you have continues 2 year working experience in government then you apply for CSS Exams

You can avail attempts of CSS 2018, 2019 & 2020 without any extra age relaxation.

I am serving as stenographer in District Judiciary having more than 5 years experience and also a Law Graduate....
If for CE-2018 FPSC set 16 years of education as minimum qualification, can i apply for CSS 2018 or not????. Is L.L.B equal to 16 years education or not???
Being Employee of District Judiciary can i avail age relaxation or not???
