however, about the package and allownce, i am affraid that u will be getting much lesser as a CSP albeit in initial years, then u will get or are getting in SuPARCO. but dear its not the pay package and previlidges for which people leave high salaried jobs and join civil service. its all about social respect you get as being a CSP. i can quote many examples in which people left six digit salaries and are now doing training with me at meager 23000. i myself included in this catagory. since i left a 50000 job for this present amount. dear the long term benefits u will get as a CSP greatly overweigh than as an engineer in SUPARCO. u will be highly esteemed in society and will be considered as the creme de la creme of the country. u will get hundreds of opportunities to go abroad for trainings and education at public money. your social status will be changed from an engineer to a civil bureaurocrate. what else u need to come here and join this cadre. dear perks and previleges are different in each group. in DMG and police they are comparatively higher than other groups. however, if u talk about the salary, then the people of IRS and Customs will be earning more money. same goes for the FSP and postal. these are the things which should not bother u at this moment. the thing to consider is that u clear the exam, get allocation and then decide, if u can leave ur existing job for the one u are being offered. i hope u got my point.

What I think is, if anyone asks the question, "Why should I do CSS?" He/she lacks the passion and shouldn't go for CSS!

Why CSS???
Very many thanks to u Marilatif 4 providing detailed info/answers regarding ma queries.
You have mentioned a very important point for which actually i was looking for i.e "the long term benefits u will get as a CSP greatly overweigh than as an engineer in SUPARCO" ......this point need more explanation... Yes you r right up-to some extent that one should first clear the exam and get allocated and then decide which is better option to opt for....I think only those can pass css which have great passion for this, bcz one cant wast time for a job in which he/she has no interest..right? So i think decision should be taken much b4 being allocated. latterly spiking i am only interested in DMG ,PSP and FSP bcz i dnt know much more about the rest. Your comments are welcomed again. Thanks "Double mind"

Im mechanical engineer serving as SPS 08 Officer in a strategic organisation.I sincerely believe that being a CSP is much better than being an engineer in strategic organisation. However,it varies from person to person.I know couple of persons who qualified CSS with flying colours and yet they decided to continue with their professions. Its up to you to decide. |
