Default Is css exam impossible to pass for an average student .

ASSALaM-O-ALAIKUM everybody .hope you guys are fine .

i have given my F.A part 2 exam this may . and please understand before answering that CSS is the only passion i have in my life . i know that everybody here has the same passion and dream so it wont be hard for you to understand that how hard it is to think about anything else other then your dream .anyway my mom truly understands me and supports me. but my sisters and brother is always telling me that i CANT pass it . they say first of all ,no one can clear css without sifarish/rishwat .2nd of all css is so hard that a normal student like me shouldn't even think about competing for merit list .and that i should choose some other field like teaching ,( i hate teaching ,sorry but i do ) . i smile at the time but when alone i cry and ask ALLAH ,why am i not special like all those people who do pass and qualify in CSS ,are they batter then me ? ( sorry pyare ALLAH JEE )

but i do believe you guys , please please tell me ,should i have hope that I too can clear css with hard work ,devotion ( without sifarish /rishwat ). or my family is right and i am just foolish .

An acquaintance of my Accounting teacher is now serving as a csp officer. Interestingly, he failed twice in FSC.
Not low marks, he simply failed it.
But he cleared css.
I suggest you go through this forum especially the suggestions section.

Can an average student clear CSS?
Most certainly. I know people who were anything but brilliant in their School and College days but have somehow managed to clear CSS.

Can CSS be cleared without Sifarish?

Absolutely. I will tell you why.
It is next to impossible to apply what we call "Jack" (vernacular) in the Written portion. If you prepare well, you will most certainly clear the written part. There is no "Sifarish" as far as the written portion is concerned.

The Interview is a different story altogether. You can influence the interview panel if you have connections high and up, but even if you don't, it won't matter much. You won't fail the interview on the basis of failing to put up a "Sifarish" alone.

You have ample time left, make the most of it. You will find everything you need to get started in this forum. Study regularly and "intelligently", pick your optional subjects after careful deliberation with friends and those who have already cleared/appeared in CSS. Always keep your background in mind when attempting to pick the optional subjects.

And in the end, no one is "better" than you as far as mental capabilities are concerned. People may be better prepared than you, but not better "than" you.
With hard work and dedication, you could be just as "Special" as they are.

Give your brain a stringent six month test and you will be amazed what the human mind, your mind, is capable of achieving. It never ceases to amaze.

Keep your faith in ALLAH. He certainly rewards those who work for it.

Good luck.

Nothing is impossible, there are variation in every one due to the school and family background but sitting hopeless by listening to those who themselves haven't achieved nothing just to degrade you. Let me tell you a story:
A group of frogs claimed to reach at the top of the tree, all of them said that it's impossible but one of the frog did it and he reached at the top. As he was deaf so be deaf to those who demotivate you and cover your weak areas and go for it.
Everyone can do it, CSS isn't a unique exam for unique people it just a competitive exam. So be at the edge.

Sara: If you have passion for CSS, just go for it. Don't listen to people who discourage/ demotivate you. That's what I do. So best of luck and pray for me as well!

if u are really an intermediate student and at this age your passion is to be a CSP

i can say you will do it definitely and definitely.

if u fail to do it remember that. “Shoot for the moon, even if you fail, you'll land among the stars.

you have courage to shoot for moon.

1. break those teeth through which these words come out, "you are no good".
2. Keep the remote control of your life in your hands.
3. If there is something which you think is crazy and impossible, go for it anyways.
4. Begin your life or any venture with the following things in mind:
a. Every plan is a failure from the beginning.
b. No target is achievable.
c. Failure is certain.
and then go for it, knowing that you will fail, knowing that you won't achieve your target, knowing that you are being nuts, then go for it. Go nuts if necessary but do what you want to do. live your life and stop wondering about ifs and buts, or you will waste your life like a car with a dead battery. Good Luck!

Oh common' !! Do not get confused . If it is your passion then you have got the answer that you will have to do it .

No bribery or reference is going to stop you . CSS is one of the most prestigious exam having more credibility than all other exams of Pakistan . Even ,lets say with sifarish , only a competitive person gets selected .

Why you are thinking such a type of things , it will degrade your confidence . Be positive ,and believe in Allah .

Best of Luck .

You have quite a good written expression for a student who has just done intermediate. In CSS, english precis and essay are the main issues for candidates, who come from different fields. Believe me, I teach grammar and I can promise you that these two papers, which are sometimes considered 50% of the CSS, will not be a concern for you Insha Allah.
Now please do these two things:
1. Continue reading any urdu/english newspaper daily.
2. Consult some good english grammar book. Wren and Martin's grammar is definitely a good start.
