Its not true..A CSP officer cannot be posted in his district of domicile. In other district he can be posted anywhere in the province. There is also a provision that at the ending years of his service he can be posted in his own district as well. Similarly there is a rule in the Civil Servant Rules that any government officer either a CSP or belonging to any other service cannot be posted at the same place for 3 years but this rule is seldom applied. Most of the time department is changed or place of posting is changed before 3 years, and if some one has strong relationships either in higher bureaucracy or in political realm, officers enjoy same posting more than three years..Hoping that you will got it..

Further queries are appreciated...

Regards
