Exclamation Is this combination safe?

Hi all, I am going to take upcoming exam. It will be my first try. I want to keep it simple and easy(as everybody does). I want to know about subjects which are relatively safer, easy to handle considering the new syllabus. I am less concerned about scoring thing as all such trends have become dated after the re-shuffling. I have randomly picked few subjects but want to have views of those who have past experience of these subjects, are they any good? Please analyze this combination and share your experience of these subjects, and suggest replacements if necessary, I would be exceedingly kind of you. Seniors and anyone having experience regarding these, please enlighten us.

International Relations
International law/criminology/philosophy
Indo-pak history
Public administration/governance
Journalism/sociology/gender studies

As per your selected subjects, you should opt the following optional subjects for CE~16 that's a safe side:

IR
Philosophy
Indo-Pak
Governance
Sociology

It is a safe side, though IR and indopak both are not deemed scoring subject but if you will do it innovatively, then you will likely make a difference. I have shared my experience, rest if you are in mood to do experience with your future then you can do anything, can opt anything what you want, but I will suggest you to opt those subjects which probably make you to pass easily. Rest, you are the master of your own will. Wish you best of luck.

Regards:

Thank you. Though I am good in grasping concept and writing it in my own form but still hesitant on choosing philosophy, How will be criminology? besides that how would you react if i want to replace sociology and governance with p.ad and journalism? Please elaborate

Dear sister, philosophy is a bit lenghty but it will give you good score. As far as Criminology is concerned, I don't have any idea about it. Yes, Public Administration and Journalism both are good. However, in current trend I think sociology would also be a good as compare to Journalism.
