Question History of Pakistan-India: Devil out of bottle?

Aoa,
History of Pakistan-India: Considered helpful in Pakistan Affairs, Constitutional Law, International Relations. But now, short of 100 marks with the same syllabus, will it be helpful?
Previous papers are distributed 80% to pre-partition events and only 20% to post-partition. Whereas, pre-partition syllabus is lengthy, lots of dates, events, personalities, points etc etc to memorize.
So now I am having doubts. Is "History of Pakistan-India" with revised syllabus a hitch?
