Dear shrd,
in the selection of subject for css you academic background most of the time give you no benefit.it is often your aptitude and interest which help you to opt subjects.punjabi on its place is a scoring subject and generally local languages are scoring in css.One of the the advantages of punjabi is that,how far my experience is,you can arrange relevant material easily even from a local market.Beside there are so many other scoring subjects like I.R,B. Administration etc.
Regard

I would recommend you to opt punjabi for following reasons:

It is a scoring subject.
Its syllabus is not huge.
Most of words in arabic are same as of urdu so no writing problem.
It is not technical subject so even if you attempt a question not in the best way you get marks.
You get 1 or 2 holidays(depending upon your other optional subjects) usually in this paper enabling you to revise all the contents.

I'm also a business graduate and I opt Punjabi in the CE 2010. But it was not a good practice for me at all. It was my 1st ever experience of Punjabi as I opt it due to the reasons mentioned by usman khalid. If you have studied it before in intermediate or graduation then it would be a good choice. For me, the main problem was to write Punjabi and i could not get that much speed which usually required and also i got lots of mistakes after lots of practice.

International Relations, Statistics are good options for you. Why don't you take Economics or Accounting of 200 instead of Business Administration of 100?

@shrd
Brother I wud suggest u to select public administration instead of business administration bcoz for business administration u have to cover three full subjects. The other thing is that ur current selection makes only four hundred marks what about the rest two hundred. And be careful about IR it has not been scoring subject in the recent years have a look at journalism, geography and histories.

Regards,
