Default donot be scarce of indo pak history

i do not know why the people are so dishearted and scarce of indopak history. to me it is quite scoring for those who have a good background and interest in the subject. i have seen the DMCs of many qualified candidates in css 2012 who secured very high marks in indopak history.

my friend got 139 out of 200. i myself got 125 with little efforts and now doing hardwork to go beyond 150 which is not impossible. indopak history is very helpful in css as it covers pakistan affairs paper as well.

so it is your choice but the subject is not bad overall.

At this time donot change your combination. Arabic takes time to be prepared . Specially , if one has not got aptitude for new languages then it becomes very difficult to learn languages . But , as you have said that you are good at urdun, so go with it and try to improve yourself in this language .

Brother, Arabic is scoring than Urdu literature.
Arabic will be prepared in short span of time if we do it systematically.
stay happy.

I don't understand this..how can you risk your attempt by opting a subject that you dont have an idea of? You don't have a background and you are adamant to rote learn rather than grasping the crux of arabic. There are 2 ways of opting subjects. One, that you opt general subjects and try to be an exception in it. Two, you go with an.altogether different subject and work hard to the point of excellence to score high. There is this fresh trend of opting those subjects that one has no idea of. Choose wisely. The subjects.must be scoring but you should know what it's all about than to cry over spilt milk. Good luck

Easha O yes , it is scoring but above comments by anniya may clear the situation and if one has not got aptitude for languages then it is not favorable to opt any language.

As well as the material for it's preparation is concerned , I relied on notes by Prof Hafiz Arshad Sahb , a popular name for Arabic in Lahore. Besides these notes , the reading of the book Taareekh e Adab e Arabi by Ahmad Hassan Zyat proves highly instrumental in the preparation of this subject.
Now some other books are also in market for Arabic. Earlier only those notes were consulted by all as there wasn't a single book in market till 2012.
oreover, I tell you how to go for its preparation. I started the preparation from Translation Portion. And step by step proceeded further.

However , it is better to start from two ends. First one should start preparing translation and at the same time one should take a bird eye view reading of the whole reading material. From reading material I mean if you are using notes of Hafiz Arshad then those or otherwise whatever book you are consulting.

First just take a reading. As you finish reading , start preparing questions by question or topic by topic.
While doing this said reading on the sidelines satrt it's mcqs preparation and then its short questions. In this way everything would get prepared. At the end prepare the short essay.
This is how I went for the preparation of this subject in my previous attempt and scored 140.

Brother these notes you can have from the following shop in Lahore. If you cant reach the shop they will send the notes through TCS. For this they will charge through easy paisa and will send you notes by couriour. You can contact them through their landline or mobile numbers.

Yes that would be even better if you consult both of these. Sometimes one is unable to understand a particular topic or term . In such a situation the second source proves helpful. I myself am considering to use some book in addition to these notes of Hafiz Sahb.
