As for improving your writing skills, the following tips may be helpful for you.

1. Have your written stuff checked by some good English teacher.

2. Seek his guidance about your weak areas, let's say basic composition, paragraph building, maintaining coherence etc. Keep practicing until you get the actual concept of how to construct comprehensive piece of writing.

3. Regularly read some good written English stuff. It can be English text books, short stories, essays, newspapers, internet blogs etc... While reading, concentrate on how the write has composed different sentence structures and what rules are being applied. Then try to copy that style and those rules by writing on your own.

In brief, proper guidance, practice and reading are the best pills to solve your problem.

All the best!!!

So, you mean how to improve your written English (or writing skills)...
Don't worry! It happens with every novice.
Well, "writing is an art though, yet not a rocket science".
Here are a few tips which hopefully will come in handy for you and remove your mental block...

Reading directly affects writing skills as listening affects speaking. So, you should read a great deal from many different sources. It will benefit you in two ways; first, when you try to put pen to paper you will have something in mind to write about and secondly, you will familiarise yourself with most common English expressions, vocabulary, idioms, phrases etc. As many feel jaded with the process of reading (followed by writing), so starting from the point of your own interest does the trick here. One should enjoy writing anyway. The element of interest is prerequisite for learning how to improve written English. So, starting to read things of your own interest first makes the sense here... You may read periodicals, magazines, novels, blogs, articles, celebrity gossips, religious issues or anything that interests you more...
Try to put pen to paper when an idea in mind comes along. Great writers believe "Everything in life needs to be written down".
Start writing from short sentences first. Then switch to writing long ones slowly and gradually. Even when it comes to messaging on cell, text in English instead of Urdu or any other language. Avoid misspelling words like writing WAT instead of WHAT, etc as it can develop permanent habit in you. Learn English grammar alongside as it corrects you.
Hope that will help...
