Well, i would not like to indulge in any type of war of arguments.
I think Al-farabi to Abdus Salam were students and were taught with directions and with proper suggestions. I don't feel our young energetic generation is more capable, nimble and mature as compare to them. Directions, suggestion and specific environment are necessary parts of composition of success otherwise any one can be engineer doctor and anything without teachers and that specific environment................ |

Me also have an experience of attending an academy i.e. KIPS lhr campus in 2011...I went there for four months but got very little from there.I think all of the academies know the fun of grabbing money just nothing except it.

Dear Seniors I know what your experiences have been with academies but I have heard that KIPS notes are good for preparation. Can you guide me on this please

Asalam O Alaikum, After reading my brother's comprehension up above, I also felt like something to share It's been a while that I have developed a desire for CSS, but I don't have any guidelines or friends to show me the right pathway, despite being an intelligent student, I brought shame to myself in my INTER because I was so careless, then I did my B.A. just for the degree, but thank GOD I at least got the 2nd Div. because I was careless there TOO. But now I think this is too much and this is really enough. The purpose of this small introduction is that please future friends suggest me a good institute to prepare I will be really grateful. Thank You. |

Dear members, after reading many posts I also aspire to share my experience at Officers. I went there for prepration in 2011. At that time i didn't know much about this forum. I met many aspirants there who were not serious for their studies. I spend one month there and came back. I would say some of the introductory lectures were very useful to me but not all. The books told by those people were authentic and useful. I cleared many of my confusions and when I realised its time to leave, I left. Academies are not bad one can go for preparation but excess of stay, high expectations and relying on academies is not good. At last one has to do self study.
all the best! |

Self study is far better than joining these academies.
