hi mano g
i was looking for your contact details and couldnt find them in your profile so i will ask you the questions of psychology i am having problems in, here...
i am going through past papers of psychology and there are certain questions that are confusing me that how should they be solved...

like, describe methods used for studying infant behaviour with special reference to psychological and physical characteristics of infant ?
how should it be solved ?

I started my css journey back in 2008, when I just did my Bsc (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry). I was totally fed up with science subjects and decided to do something different, instead of taking admission in Msc, I joined an academy for css preparation. I started taking highest marks in the class tests and assessments, I started taking my first attempt light, I thought that it is my first attempt and just a trial, as many people suggested me to appear in exam after Masters. In this confusion and double mindedness, I appeared in CE-2008. I gave my papers without proper preparation and even at that time, I was 100% sure that I will not be able to pass any paper, but when DMC came, I was happy as I got 661 marks with 37 in Precis and composition.
I was the turning point in fact, when I came to know my potential that I can make it if I put some hard work. I took admission in Msc Mass communication with an aim in mind that I would have to appear in css exam again after completing my studies, so as per my planning, I appeared in CE-2011 with consistent work of 4 months, which proved to be successful by the grace of Allah Almighty.

Merit No: 51
Marks in written: 698
Marks in viva: 198

I believe that still there were some loopholes due to which I couldn’t get higher merit number, that mistakes I will highlight in my coming posts, so that you could avoid them. But I am thankful to Allah Almighty that I have got DMG, the group of my choice.

Glad to hear about your potential, I am also going for Css 2013 with confidence, but I have fear that kahi reh na jaon, this fear continuously pinching me,don't know why! also time is running short, also pray for my success too Mano g.
Need your support and guidance for coming css exam.

Congratulations on your success. All the best for training that will probably start in December.

Last night I was badly demotivated by the results of CSS 2012 but after reading many of the posts from this thread, I am ready again to face the challenge. Thankyou so much. I am preparing for 2013 Exams and taking classes from UQAIPS Academy Karachi.

i have started preparation of psychology and sociology .. sociology i have completed 14 chapters off jj baloch and doing chapter 2 of sheher bano's psychology part 1 book... tell me should i complete the whole books of psychology or do selective study ?? should i do past papers first or go to past papers after completing study of both books... if i go to solve the past papers then it will be purely selective study... as time is running short and tell me how can i make preparation of english precis and composition and english eassy ???? i am using the book of exploring the world of english by syed saddat ... i am waiting for your reply....

just wrap up ur subjects.and start solving past years questions.for english do practice and get them checked by a good teacher besides reading some quality eng articles

Default mano g need ur suggestion
i have cleared CSS written exam 2012 in my first attempt with the grace of Allah. i haven't got my dmc yet but fpsc office said we will be getting it within 3 weeks time inshAllah. so i don't know my score yet. So i wanted to take your opinion that should i take the css 2013 exam again or i need to concentrate on the viva and interview?
plus how and from where to prepare the interview plus viva?

MASHAALLAH thats really very nice.. u can help me in my few problems .... have opted psychology, sociology , forestry and arabic ..... tell me the study pattern ...? shud i goto past papers or to the study of whole book and then solve past papers etc?? and tell your experience of study , the time u took to prepare the for CE and daily study hours and your subjects ?? your experience of examinations and other things related to CE and your expectations etc.. ?? how u did it in the first go ???
