Nope..its not compulsory..u can opt to stay out with prior approval from csa authorities..once u get the letter from them..u'll get all the details.

Yes in all provinces 3 door land cruiser is must for an ASP. I have yet to see an ASP without that official blue vehicle. PSP officer is no joke

ok sir as you have completed your military attachment so which ranked officer gets RKR officially in Army, Colonel?

if yes then what does a major gets?

Yes in all provinces 3 door land cruiser is must for an ASP. I have yet to see an ASP without that official blue vehicle. PSP officer is no joke

Assistant Commissioner usually gets Cultus with blue light when posted in field.. but it also depends upon posting.....

Only for official purposes.. 4x4 Mitsubishi..range rover..rkr etc are available for all ranks. Brigadier and above ranks are entitled to staff car.

so if a major wants to go to his home from the unit then can he use that RKR???? .............. i m asking this coz my neighbour uncle is a full colonel and i have never seen any RKR picking and dropping him etc......

In army, vehicles are available only for adm duty and ops duty. Hence if a major wants to go home, he'll go on his own..no pick and drop. But in Rangers and ISI..ample vehicles are available..vehicles are also there in some GHQ appointments for majors/colonels.
