Default 40th CTP started when?
Dears, I heard that generally ctp starts in January after the result of css. The result of css 2011 was announced in May this year. Did the ctp start just after that in June or July?

CTP for CSS 2011 started on 5th October 2012. CTP for CSS 2010 started on 14th November 2011.

CTP is generally for 6 to 7 moths. Is there any ending date given for 40th ctp? And after how many days STP will start?

40th CTP may be ended 15 April 2013 and STP will start within a week after 40th CTP.

AT present, 4 April 2013 has tentatively been fixed for final passing out of 40th CTP.

Yes, CTP has been reduced to around 6 months duration. Current CTP will end on 7th April 2013. STP of every batch may start on different dates depending upon break period after end of CTP. PAS probationers will undergo 2 weeks of district attachment as AC (UT) after CTP and then their STP will start.
