What about becoming a federal secretary? Can IRS CSP become FS? If yes, through what procedure - within IRS or joining Secretariat group?
and how one can move to secretariat after grade 19/20?

thru sectt group... the former FBR chairman Sohail Ahmed originally a DMG officer was also in sectt group at that time.... presently i know our ex cheif commissioner inland aziz bilour who is sctry industries , and also mr israr rauf , who is ,sctry CAD there are others as well , but i dnt exactly remember.... there was a circular on FBR website some days back about induction Sectt Grp in BS 20, though i haven't read that in detail..... when we were at CSA lahore tu during our visit punjab sectt, finance sectry punjab was from IRS, mr tariq pasha . . .though more than 50% sectrial posts are held by DMG offficers both at provincial and federal levels

@abdullah.. Sir can u tell posts other than Ac,Dc,Ad.Com etc on which an IRS officer can be appointed..???
