OMG officials will have to work in Pakistan Secretariat as SO, in various ministries. In BS 18 they will continue as SO. in 19 as Deputy Secretary, in 20 as JS, and if got 21, then Senior Joint Secretary. (DMG officer in BS-21, is posted as Additional Secretary). Very less officals of OMG get BS-22. However, currently Batool Iqbal Qureshi(M/o Women), Ahmad Zahid(M/o IPC), and a few more are serving as Federal secretaries who belong to OMG. But most of the secretaries belong to DMG group, now opted for Secretariat Group in BS-22. Most of them retire in BS-21. By the way Current Secretary FPSC also is a OMG officer of 6th common. He is in 21, but his batch mates like Nasir Khosa(of DMG) are in BS 22. So OMG officer is destined to suffer in terms of promotions, and respect in society. Full time conveyance is beyond question till BS 20/21, unless the officer is posted in Admin Wing.
