All the "work" compiled in this book is totally a copy paste, if you dont believe just go through the relations of Pakistan with USA/Afghanistan/India and all others, everything is taken from wikipedia. Better not to buy this book its totally a waste of money.
@author : only once you can get money thorugh compiling such fake books under your name, Jahangir books are always a copy paste work. Pathetic |

You know why most of people fail in CSS? They dont make sense when they are talking. This is from my experience of teaching css candidates for 4 years The over-generalizing of facts with using words like "all" and "totally" not only kick them out of this prestigious exam but also let them abuse the whole system later on. Now coming to your feedback, i invite all those who have the book and request them to go and check my book and compare it with the data on wikipedia. First, 60 to 70% of the topics of the book are not even listed on wikipedia. Had everything been there, no body would have purchased the book. Secondly, those topics which are listed there can be compared with the book and seen if its copy paste or different altogether. Thirdly, i never intended to include few topics of whom data i didnt have. But publisher insisted that if students are paying price they must have all the topics. So they included few topics data from wikipedia so that students get everything from one place. It was in this context that i revised the edition Your feedback is correct to an extent that few topics have that data and there isnt anything wrong with that. CSS papers dont put a bar that you produce wikipedia data and in my opinion its the best data resource available to candidates. And finally, this wasnt a research. I definitely collected data, and arguments from multiple sources, compiled them and made a concise arrangement of the topics for candidates and hence the price of the book for them. Any one expecting that i would have produced my own research work after reading hundreds of books in 6 months is either a fool or ignorant. So here is a book that i think gives much of info related to current affairs. If you have better options you may go for them. In fact css candidates should always look to different sources for their preparation. With respect to the language you used, i am not gonna reciprocate that because then you and me would be at the SAME level which we are, judging from your language, certainly not. Thanks. WRK

Come on guys! It is CSS exam and we have to retain our comparative studies and nearly every book of Jahanigr exam Cram, Carvan and Dogars are the mixture of compilation, written and authored. Since it is a competitive exam, we need to study comparatively. We need to glance at the same topics from different sources and well said by waseem, that we need concrete material to understand the topics.
Waseem is your new version book available at Karachi/Hyderabad now? Would love to read it, please do let me know the best topics in your book which you think one must grasp for CE~16. I am asking it because I have Political Science in my optional subjects and I don't want have to go in depth. So do let me know the best and important topics comprised your book. Thanks in anticipation. |

This book has everything to get started with your exam. First of all, It provides you all the names of topics and as one should study comparatively, I think names of topic from the book can be taken to explore further. Secondly, I covers most of important topics and lastly, It not only provides facts and figures but also opinions and much more.
Thank you Waseem bro. I aprreciate your hard work |

How to attempt CA Paper
I know the fact that most of you have sufficient knowledge about current affairs. This is the age of learning through informal means like FB, TWITTER etc, so i assume that most of you have knowledge that can be effectively utilized in CA paper. But unfortunately most of people dont know how to put this knowledge to use. Almost all the candidates focus on gathering facts and figure, arguments etc but seldom pay attention to the way the paper should be attempted. Unless you have good presentation, all the knowledge you share may be wasted. It is in this context that i thought to jot down some basic guidelines about format of answers in CA paper.
ANSWER Introduction Introduction is the most of important part of the answer. If intro is good the examiner is engaged and he reads the ans and if its boring and tedious he wont take much interest and leave the ans with below avg marks. Your introduction must introduce the ans, what your are going to say and in which direction you will proceed? Will you agree with the examiner or go against? Do you know precisely what has been asked? Do you understand the significance of the question? Introduction should have an attention grabber if possible. Start it with relevant quote or reference to any newspaper or journal or some person of authority. But remember never give wrong info or the one which is doubtful in your intro because that would have negative impact upon remaining part of your ans. Avoid lengthy sentences. Avoid difficult vocab. Introduction should not be that lengthy rather half page or slightly more than that would suffice. 1. Timeline Its good that history or background of the question is given in time line format. Instead of writing pages about irrelevant history that the examiner has asked, its good that you briefly give background or history in the form of timeline. Now whats Timeline? Its narration of incidents or things vis a vis dates. For example if examiner asks about recent issues in indo pak relations, instead tracking the history in half of given time, present the Timeline: Pak india got independence - 1947 Water dispute started (first war) -1948 Indus water treat- 1960 Second war- 1965 Offcourse you may add/delete the details. If you are interested/have sufficient time, you can give detailed one. Now whats the utility of that. It saves time and it coveys the examiner that you know the background. Purpose is served. Continued........

1-Is it necessary to define topic, means to "define what the NAP/Geostratgegic" is? 2-What about "critical analysis" before conclusion, if we give our own comments on the said question, is it a good way? 3-I have read many topics that do not contain "conclusion". Please clear this point? Please continue your contribution & Thank you so much for your great guidance |

Arguments
Arguments are the most important part of CA answer. They must be good and logical. As a standard rule one paragraph should have one argument headed by relevant catchy heading. It is always good to go for sub-headings within the main heading instead of writing all the stuff in one go. So breaking the answer into parts facilitates the examiner and shows clear thought process on the part of candidate. Your argumetns should be supported by; 1. Facts and figures preferably in the form of tables or charts 2. Maps (i suggest all of you learn drawing world and pakistan maps within 2 min) 3. References to newspapers/journals. 4. References to int org like UNO/WB. 5. QUOTES from famous personalities. Write as many relevant paragraphs as you can. Length of answer does matter. I will answer the queries at the end or as i find some time. Continued.........
