Default Energy demand of Paksitan for~2016
So far as I know that it seems Pakistan needs 25000MW to 2600MW energy for Agro-Industrial and 185 million people, whereas, the generation is hardly 16000MW. The demand and supply gap has reached 7000MW to 8000MW. Although the aggregate coal projects of Sindh, KPK & Solar plants which are recently initiated in Faislabad, could not manage to overcome energy crisis. Now we are about to initiate new plans for energy generation for cost $36 billion in accordance with C-PEC projects.

Please notify my statistics if I am wrong anywhere in my estimation.

Per day, the energy requirement is almost 15,000 to 20,000 MW, where as the supply remained 13,000 to 16,000. It mean we are suffering from 4000 to 7000 MW shortfall.
The thermal installed capacity is 12,500 MW-65% of the total, whereas hydro and Nuclear installed capacities are, 6500 MW-32% of total and 465MW-3% of the total.

There are different statistics in news papers all the time. Do you think $36 billion would really generate more 21000 MW as per CPEC plan. In addition to that, 1035km gas pipeline of TAPI is to be addeded, which will ultimately install upto 1000 MW. In the meanwhile, Qaud-e-Azam Solar Plants includes 100 MW, Coal, Tidal and KPK new mini dams are another engergy generation. I read many cock and bull stories in different news papers, most of them I feel are just nominal and in real energy is only at the Sun star.

Obviously it was a typo error, so it needs to be 26000. Still I am of the view that you are kidding as always you do everwhere
