@Mubeen Saeed , i thik u should read the goverment press releases....u should watch the current affairs programs bcoz diff govt officials defend the govt stance in these programs. U can watch the speeches of diff ministers and other officilas regarding any issue. It would definately help to make a pro govt stance.

@Mubeen Saeed
I think that unnecessary pro govt stance will not result in high scores. First because the examiners who check the papers are university professors or academics, so they would not necessarily give you additional marks for that. As you can see in the TV shows that academic people have a balanced view, so a balanced view is better one. Secondly, one of my fellow who stood second in CSS told me that in his interview he was asked about the political situation and its solution. It was during Musharaf regime, and he strongly suggested Benazir Bhutto's return and coming to power is the solution. At that time Musharaf was at the height of his popularity but even then he has gone against popular thinking, offcourse he has his own logic and arguments for that. So what really matters is the logic and arguments in support of your point. Dont go unnecessarily for pro govt stance. Although it is true that when you are in govt service, then you have to defend it. But that stage comes later. Regards |

btw, who advised u to adopt pro-gov. stand ?
When i was being interviewed for a post in FPSC back in mid 80s in the Zia era, the Chaiman asked me to name the 5 prime ministers of pakistan and i included the name of Z. A. Buttho. Remember uttering the name of Buttho in that kind of situation was like inviting trouble for oneself, and he raised his eye brows And i was recommended for the post ! Truth is Truth .............. u cant run away from it. |

Hello Dear
What do you mean by PRO-GOvT approach ?? You mean parroting what the GOVT official say .or JUST hiding the truth by appreciating every nonsensical step of the gvt?? I really do not understand why we are so afraid to express our free thoughts.Is this not hypocrisy that we write or say just to please govt for our vested interests?? I think we lack moral courage as an individual as well as a nation.! I can just pray," O God give us the courage to speak the TRUTH"... Best regards riental
