Default CA 2011 Prep: Advice Needed

Seniors and fellow members, I need your help and advice regarding Current Affairs Preparation. I have

1)Been reading dawn since Feb 2010, but I don't remember a single event
2)Finished Quarterly Journal of Jahangir World Times Book 1.
3)Completed thorough reading of so called Golden notes of Officers Academy for CA 2011

Do you guys think that this is enough for securing good 60% plus marks in the paper? Do I need to read any other material? If yes please let me know!

Would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks!

You should select some topics for this purpose and then collect material such as a collection of articles for each topic. You need to get some points to expand them in the examination hall. Get an idea from the following link for selection of topics.

Let me illustrate it with the help of an example:

For instance Afghanistan Issue: collect articles on this issue or randomly read some standard articles from online sources such as DAWN, the News, Daily Times, Express Tribune etc. Then jot down some points like 9/11 event, demand of Usama, Talibans refusal, Pak's U-turn and changing Afghan policy, US occupation of Afghan, impact on the region and US, Taliban movement, Al-Qaeda, War on Terror, TTP - Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, Extremism, Talibanization, Law and order situation in Pakistan due to Afghan policy, US future policy of Afghanistan, US withdrawal from Afghanistan and its future prospects, US designs of staying in the region, Indian intervention in Afghanistan and harming the interests of Pakistan.

Now see in this single issue you are going to cover too many topics, and 8 to 10 topics and random study of selected articles will Insha Allah cover your Current Affairs Paper. You need to memorize important points, events and expand them in examination hall. Secondly, try to make your paper different from others, give headings, quotations and references if any. Draw table if needed and comparison charts. I used to give maximum headings and in two attempts I scored 50+. All the best.
