senior members please guide
hello, can anyone guide me about current affairs?? i was so out of touch with news that now i have zero back ground .. plus i fail to form links when i read newspapers or try to analyse on my own... is there any particular source that can provide me with good analytical material... i mean the history and factual details are there everywhere, but i dont think the examiner is gonna demand that...
personally, i liked this one: State of relations with the US By Javid Husain http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-compu...relations.html but it needs to be updated ofcourse.. can any body tellme the source where i can find essays like this and i would be highly obliged if ne of the senior members would guide a bit about how to attempt the paper of current affairs... especially for people like me who are dumb in this discipline |

Hello !
the best way to prepare your current affairs is to read news papers , watch talk shows , discuss with your teachers , parents , elder brother and sisters , friends .this habit will help you to built your opinion . Secondly i recommend you to improve your observation,it will be very fruitful while attempting your paper. one more thing. Make notes of each topic. for example currently the most hottest issue is that film "Innocence of Muslims" . get information about that film .like , 1-director name 2-released date , 3-reaction of Muslims ,4-reaction of Muslim forums like OIC , 4-Reaction of Pakistan govt. etc do this for every current topic. for example , 1-NRO. 2-Letter to Swiss Govt. 3-blasphemy law . . . and so many others. it will just take simple 1 to 2 hr for each topic(if you have internet facility.). but after one week you will see that you are very good in current affairs ,this strategy will also help you for essay paper. Best Regards |
