Important Topics list from JWT Jan 2014 to Dec 2014
Asalam-o-Alaikum;
As all of us know that the most of the notes of Current Affairs, available in the form of published books ( commercial Publishers) printed books ( CSS academies notes ) or notes prepared by fellows here on cssforum, most of the times are outdated and contain information that has changed over time and citing such information in examination can be a reason for our marks deduction in exams. e.g. In the case of Indus Water Treaty and Water dispute between India and Pakistan, I found most of the information regarding Kishanganga dam as controversial, whereas it is very hard to find information in the above stated sources that International Court of Arbitration (ICA) has allowed India to built the dam with some minimum requirement ( of 9 cumecs at all times ) and current instance of India and Pakistan on this issue. Same is the case with Afghan Pakistan relation. Due to change of Government in Afghanistan ( now Ashraf Ghani as the President) , its foreign policy has been changed than that of previous Government and Hamid Karzai. And if we reproduce our answers from the above mentioned resources it is not going to reward us. Therefore I request all the members to contribute their efforts in helping me prepare notes from Jahangir World Times magazine, the most suitable current affairs sources for CSS aspirants. I'll upload the editable Word files of JWT magazines from January 2014 to December 2014 and request all the members to extract: 1. Notes for Most Important Topics ( list given below ) 2. Prepare the notes by combining different articles from JWT (January to December 2014) relevant to the same topic in one Word file. 3. Extract National, International, World's top 10 stories into seperate Word files for the whole year. 4. National and International MCQs in seperate Word files. 5. Sample papers in a seperate file. 6. Vocabulary and English portion in a seperate file. Optional 7. Success stories ( if some one want to, for motivation ) in a seperate. 8. CSP's advices, trick and tips, how to articles, Interview tips etc in a seperate file. Note: Kindly avoid unnecessary pictures and try to make the files print-friendly. I'll be highly thankful to all those who participate even in a single idea above. This will be a huge help for all of the candidates since we are all well aware of JWT's relevance to CSS examination, their topic selection, relevant material production for many CSS subjects, guess papers, MCQs, Organisations, news stories etc. All these certainly play an important role for all of the successful candidates. Looking forward for positive response of all the members.
