Read Dawn newspaper, Bi monthly edition of Contemporary affairs by Imtiaz Shahid, current affairs websites like IPSI etc
It covers almost the current topics (International and National Affairs)
Just read them and write down the important points in the register and make outlines of the topic and do it by analyzing the facts and attempt the past questions by analytical approach

Default Current Affairs

In addition to above suggestion, you should visit the thread regarding important expected issues for essay to be tested in CE13. Most of the suggested topics will be covered somehow in various compulsory papers.
Let's take the example of the recent blasphemy issue and Youm-e-Ishq e Rasool being observed by Pakistan. This issue and its aftermaths can be tested in Islamiat paper.
