How to remember vocabulary?

i am reading dawn n writing down all the difficult vocabulary but after writing down so many words time n again i am able to recall very few
is there any way of learning vocabulary as u members told effective ways of
how to do precis,comprehension and how to read newspaper mm

The problem, you mentioned, is faced by everyone in the beginning....but with persistence you can over come it.And don't try to learn all worlds in one day...you cannot master it in one day...As they say 'Rome was not built in a day'...so, you can not develop your vocabulary strength in a short time..it requires time and patience.So be patient and try as much as you can.. gradually, you will feel better...

And try to use the learned words frequently in writing and speaking....because through repetition and writing you can better commit words to your memory..
