Memoriztion of words by Flash Cards
In order to gain a vast treasure of vocabulary, try Flash cards. I personally found it very useful in my GRE/GAT test.
Gather a batch of small cards or make out with paper. Write a word on each you do not know and on their back side write its meaning synonym and antonym. A good site for antonym finder is Synonyms Thesaurus with Antonyms & Definitions | Synonym.com Carry a few of your flash cards with you everyday. Look them over whenever you have spare moments, during job or classes. Try going through ten Flash cards daily, shuffling through quickly. Test your memory and try to guess each word's meaning, synonym and antonym or make out a sentence without looking at the card's back.. It Really works! :-) |
