Unhappy Basic difference between closely similar pair of words.

What is the minor difference between these pair of words.
1. wreck
wreak
2. immigrant
emigrant
3. amoral
immoral
4.mitigate
alleviate
They are from past papers and I have difficulty in finding the answers.
