English is such a subject which demands lot of practice to have grip over this subject, whether its precis, essay or any kind of writing. First of all, go through precis rules and then consult CSS past papers and start practice. You should’ve pretty well knowledge of vocabulary as well. Progressively, you’ll acquire skills to solve it in the best scoring manner

Dear, I suggest you to go for EWE ("Exploring the world of English" by: Saadat Ali shah) in that book you will find all the required things you are looking for particularly solved examples of precis.
