Thank you for your correction mate. That is what i thought for improving our English language.

Can the word "it" be used as a pronoun for valuable suggestions? (unless you are pointing to the situtaion instead of the word "valuable suggestions") The word is plural and the other thing is that I think the word "alot" is actually "a lot". I do not know whether that is a mistake or you think it as a one word.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

The sentence could be written as;
Thank you for your valuable suggestions. It helped me a lot. (again this could be the sentence if you are pointing towards situation and not the word itself)
(Full Stop after first part of the sentence)
