Respected seniors, I have written a precis of Dawn's Editorial.Kindly check it and point out my mistakes
“WASTING ENERGY”

The Nandipur power project has become controversial.The project was initiated at the end of Musharaf’s regime.In 2010,PPP members were accused of stopping the project which made the machinery imported from China to rust at the port.The PML-N took special interest in it and tried to resolve the wrongs of the PPP government .On the contrary,this has lead to the dozen problems.Instead of renegotiation with the chinese contractor,PML-N has showed a haste in the project,by authorizing one small turbine which would be running on fuel.This has shown the ego of the government against its rivals.Similarly,Uch and Guddu power projects are lying idle,as nobody has given heed in evacuating the power from it.The electricity from Nandipur project would be too expensive,as it is running on fuel.On the other hand,opposition in the Punjab Assembly has threatened to take the case to court by alleged corruption.Nevertheless,this scuffle in the politics has gain nothing instead of a wastage of energy.

correct: This has led to dozens of problems.

4th line: "as nobody has given heed in evacuating the power from it"
if you are trying to say that nobody gave importance to generate power from it, then it clearly shows you are
trying to use heavy words for no reason or to impress the reader. Which creates a bad impression on readers.
