Resilience is a sin qua non for any accomplishment. We see that successful men and women are those, who remain resolute in life through thick and thin. Instead of going into transitory commotion, they slowly and gradually build up the momentum. For instance, it was the unflinching determination of Taimur that successive defeats could not un-swerve him and eventually he won. In man‘s struggle in life he has to confront many instances where his resolve is tested. It may be on battlefield, in an educational endeavor or in any other mundane affair of life; this litmus test for success has to be passed. From nowhere a firm M.A. Jinnah brought a homeland for the Muslims of Sub-continent. The darkest moments were too feeble for him to derail from his mission. In deed, life rewards those who have the ability to bow their head for a larger struggle and remain defiant to the inclement weather. If success would have been bestowed on a single effort then their would have been very few unsuccessful men. However, strength is but inferior to the steadfastness. Latter is the essence of the character. The physical prowess is necessary for success. To go and clinch we have to have some ability to run. But life is a marathon; it is not a sprint and requires fortitude and steady application. Though, there are people who are catapulted to a position by a flip of chance. Yet to remain in success they have to show the resolve. Ordinarily, life is too harsh towards the person who has lackadaisical approach towards it. (269 words)
