Yes, you can use hot & cold for tea.
But the first sentence would be:"Tea is becoming colder" Because here we have the idea of comparison,i.e.Becoming (getting). For example: She is becoming prettier. (She looks prettier than the previous days. Comparison between present and previous days)
2.Tea is so hot. - Some grammarians consider it incorrect. Because so introduces "That-clause", i.e. Tea is so hot that we cannot have it.
So it should be:Tea is very hot.

hmmm...very good elaboration dear...yes here we are transitioning from one state that is at hand, to other...like the tea has to be cold before it gets colder as colder is the comparative of cold...the tea does not become colder rather it getscolder as become is reserved for describing something that was not so before but it has become now like i have become a CSP...

yes that is correct so takes second clause except that mistake... we do not have tea rather we take it as have is reserved for meals...

thanks dear
we use fly for the aeroplane and sail for the ship but what about the fan?
fan (pankha)
when electricity came fan _________________ itself.
which one of the following is correct sentence.
when electricity came, fan runs itself.
when electricity came, fan starts itself.
If both sentences are incorrect then please write the correct sentence and also elaborate it with some examples.
what we use with fan?
fan start
fan open
fan run
