Please check and correct me in changing the narration from English precise and Composition paper of PMS kp 2008.

Direct: Amir said, "I haven't seen you for a long time'.
Indirect: Amir said that he had't seen you for a long time.'

Direct: I asked my sister, "Why did you do that?"
Indirect:I asked my sister why had you done this.

Direct: She asked him, "Why don't you love me any more?"
Indirect:she asked him why did't you loved her any more.

Direct: Amir asked Junaid, "When are we going to leave?"
Indirect:Amir asked junaid when where they going to leave.

Direct: She said, "I had an infection".
Indirect:she said that she had been an infection.

Direct: Junaid said, "I don't like to stay in be".
Indirect:junaid said that he did't like to stay in be.


Direct: Akbar said, "I bought a new car".
Indirect:Akbar said that he had bought a new car.

Just one confusion to be cleared please.
I read that reported speach from Past Perfect is to be converted into Past Perfect Continuous tens. Then is :
She said, "I had an infection".
converted as:
she told that she had an infection.

No Past Perfect is not changed into Past Perfect Continuous it remains the same means Past Perfect tense remains unchanged while other changes are made. In above example:
She said, "I had an infection" will be changed into She told that she had an infection so in this sentence you can easily see that there is no change of tense but other changes have been made.

REPORTED VERBS IN THE PRESENT AND PAST TENSES

present continuous changes into past continuous
present perfect changes into past perfect
present perfect continuous changes nto past perfect continuous
past indefinite changes into past perfect
past continuous changes into past perfect continuous
past perfect doesn't change
past perfect continuous doesn't change

is correct because "Many a" always followed be a singular helping verb and verb.If you have any doubt kindly check "Wren & Martin" composition book. page no 236 and example no 114.
