Fundamentally,poetry carries events related to a big population.Poetry reflecting personal pursuits and specific events is against the traits of poetry.A poet has to undermine his emotions while writing about a general topic.He must has to take into account the opinion of other people of his surroundings.A political poet does not writes about the fictitious past rather he tries to comprehend and translate the immense present.He cannot involve himself due to the opposing force of his subject.he has to be very selective regarding matters.At once he has to be too general and at other he may has to be too specific.This is how political poetry fluctuates.
