Outlines:

1. Introduction (Definition of Terrorism with reference to dictionary of social sciences, concept of terrorism and counter narrative approach to tackle terrorism)
2. Brief history of Terrorism
3. Terrorism – A global perspective in digital age (with reference to Ex-COAS discussion in World Economic Forum)
4. Need of counter narrative approach at National and International level (A narrative for winning of hearts and minds as mentioned by ex-DGISPR General Asim Bajwa)
• Whole of nation approach
• Example of Pakistan’s successful approach
o Harmonized civil military approach
o National Action Plan (NAP) and National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA)
o 21st amendment – unusual circumstances and unusual steps
o Outcomes of approach (Facts and figures about reduction in Pakistan)
• International approach – Humanitarian level efforts
• Need of Intelligence sharing (with reference to Ex-COAS discussion in World Economic Forum)
5. Importance of Social Sciences
• Social narrative to deter terrorism (preliminary step to avoid promulgation of terrorism)
• Military operational strategy and ultimate integration requirement
• An amalgamated approach (scientific, intelligence, military, civil and social approach)
• De radicalized centers
o Examples of Pakistan (Saboon etc.)
• Role of Psychologists, and Criminologist
• Suitable socio-economic conditions
• Integration of ex-militants in nation building
• Role of political parties
• Role of media

there is no need to include definition and history of terrorism. furthermore, inclusion of UNO in suggestion part is highly desirable. additionally, on religious front, religious scholars should also come forward in building counter narrative.
hope it does help

I totally agree with you, role of religious scholar, UN, NGOs, and importance of education needs to be mentioned as well.

I haven't written the essay so far. Currently, reading and preparing the outlines for some hot issues.
If I wrote complete, I shall share it for sure.

I will be waiting for it. I got essay book for css by jehangir world times "top 30 essays for css, pms." The book has many mistakes in it. It has been compiled in haste as they think that students will go for it whether it has issues or not. Jehangir world times has lost its reputation which was established in a very short time.

Your outlines are impressive. If you are preparing to appear in 2018 then it would be fine as studying other subjects you would come to gain more information about the concerned topic as well other.
for your above outlines: You have completely skipped the religion/extremism factor (already mentioned).
Additionally, I will suggest you listen one of the speeches of Javed Ahmed Ghamdi (I can't recall the title of that video) He had given a satisfactory ground relating to your topic.

(I just recently begun to prepare for Essay writing: so I am not Senior) Thanks.

I am also one of the hundreds and thousands of victims of JAGANGIR's fraud and deception. Jahangir's third class policy of money-making has severely affected our time and energy. I mistakenly bought such a book of essays by Jahangir found it a complete crap full of grammatical mistakes, immaturely written and passed it to one of my Junior friends the other day. Pak. Affair's & Current Affairs' books contain 99.9% internet material (I think same might be the case with other subject books).
Regarding Essay writing I will suggest you to avoid all of these books. Just consider other subjects; practice writing what you are studying these days (better; write 500 words paragraph regularly); write a long essay weekly+outlining.

I agree religion, education and some other points were missed. Now this recent hype of populosm created by Donal Trump can also be fit somewhere as per the demands of topics.
Well once again I agree with your feedback of some low standard books, I am studying essay related material online.
Best of luck....17Feb (true and extended valentine's day) is approaching :p
