Is it must to create an outline of the essay in the exam?

I've seen some people post that their outline was too short or that maybe the examiner will not like their outline. So i'm wondering, is the outline also graded along with the essay? Or is the outline purely for the writer himself?

The outline is a requirement, as is mentioned in the question paper. It is not to be too short or too long.

Anyone who has been following this thread can see one thing that the PartyPooper who had been issuing Fatwas against my outline and imposing his own view of what an Essay ought to be, has somehow ran away from the scene. He has fetched only 18 marks in his Essay of CE 2017.

LESSON: Be humble and try to avoid being judgmental. Don't be discouraged by the negative comments of others. Make it your personal conviction that you can ace this exam. Do not engage in absurd conversations.

What and where is your thesis statement ?
Bro from the outline it seems that you are not arguing any point of view .
Essay is argumentative ,You have to show in your outline what point you want to argue and prove.
Points are relevant but you have to shape these points into arguments .
Boy ,consult regularly a competent English teacher and write at least 10 argumentative essays before exam if possible .(I wish someone had told me this before )

Regards .
