I have a serious problem. Anum zara, fawad shah, and other seniors.
I have a serious problem. I have written two essays. Each essay took a whole day. Whenever, I start writing, my mind stops working and I start thinking about sentences. Write and erase. I think I can not write an essay in three hours. How can I overcome this issue?

First of all this is normal. Even professional writers sometimes have this issue.
Try writing the same essay again the next day. I am sure when you write it the second time you can do it in 3 hours. Use it to gain some confidence as confidence is very important when writing. I had similar issues some years ago but its all in the mind. You have to bring confidence in your writing and you can get over this. Do anything you can to gain confidence. Write an essay 10 times and when you can do it in 3 hours, do not think that it took you 10 attempts, just think that you achieved your target.

By reading Dawn and if possible contemporary affairs by Imtiaz Shahid and practicing regularly, you will notice significant improvement. You don't have to be verbose and use flowery language. Using the simplest but relevant vocabulary should be good enough.

Reading is a great way to improve your writing. You might not notice the gradual changes it brings to your writing but it makes a huge difference.
