This is my very first piece of writing when I started preparing for CSS 2011, and particularly Essay.

Role of Culture in the socialization of an individual

Culture is the functional context of a society, and a guiding star in the process of socialization of an individual. Culture is a layout for the members of a society. It makes us what we are. It furnishes the texture of a society by teaching individuals how to respond and act in certain situations.

Right from the beginning of life, socialization process of an individual starts in form of social interaction. He interacts with his family through language his parents and siblings speak. Culture helps an individual to groom throughout his life by lending him the set of beliefs, values, norms and attitudes it inherited, to make him a useful member of the societies.

Socialization is done by two broad types of learning; Learning by conditioning and learning by Reasoning. The former is utilized in the very early stages of life, where a kid has no ability to reason a certain response. His behavioral pattern is exactly what he perceived from his surroundings. For instance, a kid observing his parents/ peers and teachers offering their prayers, supporting each other, being truthful and honest would be helpful, honest, and truthful by instinct. This is known as Learning by Conditioning where culture followed by one’s society is acting as a stimulant for him to form his behavioral patterns.

Learning changes with age and experience. When humans grow up, they experience culture from a different aspect. They have power of reasoning to follow a certain pattern of behaviors continuously and hence their personality takes a modified permanent shape. This is known as Learning by Reasoning. Learning by reasoning differs human from animals, as God has bestowed man with sense of logic and reason but not animals.

If an individual is surrounded by a culture which is rich and strong in its beliefs, values, norms and attitudes; then
probability of him being useful to society and a strong personality is more higher than the one who socialized in a weak and narrow-minded culture.
Culture tells a man what is right and wrong and what is good or bad. Therefore, it helps him to be a more productive and useful member of the society.

Pakistani culture has strong social values and beliefs regarding the family relationships and religion. But when it comes to the norms and laws of society, the culture promotes dishonesty, corruption, nepotism, bribery, robbery, theft and encouragement to break laws. This did not exist in pre-industrialization culture. But as culture keeps changing, it has changed in Pakistan as well due to the economic, political and social conditions. This negative change in culture will promote social deformities in the members of society and create hindrances for the socially refined members to act in a useful manner. But with the development of educational, economic and political conditions of the country, things can start getting better.

Culture holds the authority to refine or deform individuals during their socialization processes. Cultural values, norms, laws, attitudes and beliefs teach an individual to be honest, helpful, truthful, loyal and committed to his society. Development in educational, economic and political conditions of a society contributes to the positive change in cultural ingredients and hence produces better social products!

You have an impressive expression,and your usage and correctness of English language is also more than satisfactory.So,no real issues on this front.
This is a topic of sociology.I don't think such 'highly technical' essay topics come in the CSS exams.At least I haven't seen one.Try attempting more realistic,exam based topics.
The paragraphs that you have made are far too small.This gives a childish impression to the paper checker.Paragraphs should be of a good size,and the first line should be self explanatory as to the content of the paragraph.Also,it is always good to have seamless continuity between the paragraphs.This can be done if in the last line of ur paragraph,u can drop a hint as to the topic of the next paragraph.
Of course u would know that essay in CSS should be of 2500-3500 words.That length should come to you with time.

Considering it a first attempt, it can be attributed exceptionally good. Though there had been mistakes at a couple of places, you would have developed into a refined writer by now so, there exists no need of pointing out them. Over all, you have had excellent communication skills with supreme expressive style. Would you explain your expertise provided you are given a chance to write same topic now?

and it was really not an essay, but I tried my hand on Article writing but since it's creative writing so put it over here!
