In my opinion FDI is not always fruitful as it is disadvantageous also.

FDI supports full acquisition of assets to the foreign investor. So it'll be good to mention disadvantages of FDI also. Further FDI and External Public Debt should be given an appropriate proportion, coz in case of later the acquisition of assets remains in the hands of host country so that the host country claims for total revenues, the only thing that it has to pay is the amount of interest which as compare to the total revenue is quite less. While in case of FDI total revenue goes to the foreing investor and the host country is left with only tax revenues, but in Pakistan FDI is being given a tax holodays for about 3 years according to latest FDI policy, which is also dangerous.

The points which i mentioned above are those which i'd studied very carefully after having a reply from a very good analyst on my writing on Foreign Direct Investment in Pakistan
