Default How to write a scoring Essay?

How to write a scoring Essay?
Maximum students ask this question before going for CSS. As far as successful candidates concerned, they give following answers of this question.
a. I wrote maximum essays before papers.
b. I was consulting a good teacher.
c. I wrote my first essay in paper and passed
d. I wrote only 10 pages. I wrote 25 pages. etc
Differences in answers of CSPs create ambiguities for new aspirants.
As far as myself & experience of my colleagues at Civil Services Academy is concerned, following are the things which are prerequisites for passing Essay paper.
1. Clarity
e.g: If examiner is asking about Future of democracy in Pakistan then please do not annoy him with lot more definitions of democracy. You may define it in a single sentence and then simply hit the main point concerned.
2. Coherence
e.g: You are supposed to co-relate all things regarding given topic. Don't fix nose in place of tail. Essay writing is similar to construction of a building. If You'll make foundations strong, building will be well structured. (Outline & Intro are foundations whereas conclusion is the renovation of essay's building)
3. No Grammatical & spelling mistakes
e,g: I hope you you'll imagine better that what will be the expression of your essay having grammar & spelling mistakes.
4. Sentence structure & style
e.g: Compare following two sentences.
(a) We won the match.
(b) We earned the day.
If you are feeling that sentence (b) is more appealing then you should try to focus on structure & style of sentences in essay.
5. Length of Essay
As far as length of essay is concerned you should try to follow the word limit given by FPSC.
6. Practice
Remember some people have better writing skills & better academic back grounds so of such people pass the essay paper with their first ever attempt while sitting in examination hall & you are not having such good skills then regular Practice is better option for you.
7. Outline
Outline is necessary. No need of headings within essay content after making outline.

I hope above mentioned things will help you in a positive way while coping with Essay during CSS exam.
Best of Luck to CSS 2015 aspirants
In case on any ambiguity you can mail me.
