the character or disposition of a community, group, person, etc.

the moral element in dramatic literature that determines a character's action rather than his or her thought or emotion.

THE TOPIC WAS TO ANALYZE THE ETHOS IN POST MODERN ENVIRONMENT AND IDENTIFY THE CHALLENGES IT POSED TO THE WEST... AT LEAST THAT'S HOW I INTERPRETED IT...

the social changes in the east (arab spring, bahrain, pti, aam aadmi party etc) resulting in the west's decreasing ability to influence the decisions of the govts in the east for their interests... the social changes in the west (occupy, islam) resulting in west's decreasing ability to keep their own people in the dark... causes: media, internet, social networking...
