Question exams 2012
AOA,
i want to know my query from seniors & those who gave exams.my query is that in islamiyat paper it is important to write and quote QURANIC VERSES TRANSLATION.
BUT I WANT TO KNOW THAT IT IS IMPORTANT TO WRITE FIRSTLY SURAH IN ARABIC OR IT IS FINE TO WRITE ONLY TRANSLATION OF SURAH IN URDU WHICH I WANT TO QUOTE ACCORDING TO QUESTION.

only write translation of the verses and try to mention the verse and Surah... If you dont remember the name of Surah or verse nmber then simply write the translation

translation without verse number wont work..If you can write Arabic then it is a better option as it will show your grasp on that perticular topic..Arabic is the best option,Translation will work too but with verse number..

It is not necessary to write verse no while quoting verses in the paper. Unfortunately, if you forget verse no or write it incorrectly, it may have a negative impact on your score. Quoting verses in Arabic is better but again make sure you correctly pen down the arabic words otherwise write urdu translation.
