Dear misbah10 , If your expressions of urdu are pretty good then go for urdu. Otherwise English is the best option to go for. Because, you have to attempt most of the paper in English. The rest of option is in your hand. If you want ask any question. Please do ask.

Thanks.
Regards.......

Well, dear brother, Khursheed Ahmed's book is good for Islamiat. Besides, Try to read dawn's Friday features of dawn. It will help u a lot in Islamiat's paper for general topics.

If you want to read in urdu, then go with Dogar's book for Islamiat. It is written in urdu according to the syllabus of Islamiat of css. First read it in urdu then it would be easy for you to understand the English book. However, If your English expressions are good then it is better not to read it in urdu go directly for English.

If you feel any difficultiy in Islamiat I am here, will help you as per my part as much as I can.....

Thanks.........

As the other member has said that it depends on your written expression so you should judge yourself which medium will be the best for you.If you studied Islamiat in Urdu during your academic period then your priority should be Urdu, otherwise English.

To know about the basics, you can even consult book of B.A.You can take ayat & ahadees as references from that book. There is an easy book by Attiya Bano, you can consult that.Keep in mind one thing, paper is not bookish type so you have to be analytical in your approach and should have 'up to date' knowledge.

All the best !
