Previously, there used to be a compulsory question of translation of Ayaat into Urdu but now only one or two verses or part of a verse(can even be one or two words) comes in the objective portion and you have to choose its exact meaning from the given options.

Sir kindly guide that is it mandatory or useful to read the complete two pages of editorial of DAWN , or good analytic skills can be hatched by reading and reproducing three to four articles. If yes then who are the best article writers, please.

No, it is not mandatory to read all the articles. One should rather work smartly to save one's time by reading the editorials and such columns as are, in one way or another, related to issues that are important from CSS' point of view. In my opinion, Mr. Najam's columns are helpful in understanding issues related to foreign policy. The opinions of AG Noorani, Adeel Niaz, Irfan Hussain and Asha'ar Rehman are also worth reading.
You may go through the topics of other articles as well and can read the ones that you consider important.
Regards.

You don't have to read the complete Dawn. Just read the first page, last page, international pages and the editorials and important columns.

To my understanding for written part one should read editorials and one or two good articles. There is no need to go through the whole newspaper.

Regards
