In the book 'Islami Nazariya Hayath', by Khursheed Ahemd, I found a reference of Quranic ayath, which is not correct. It is on page 159, paragraph 2, line 4 &5.

(9:34) ''.وہ لوگ جو عقل سے کام نہيں ليتے جانوروں سے بدتر ہے"

I searched at-least ten translation of Holy Quran (9:34) but in non of them the above translation was given.

I request seniors and all my friends to look for it, and let me know whether it is deception or error?

The tafseer, that I have, contains the following translation of the mentioned verse:


" Ay Iman walo, aksar ulema aur a34bid logun ka maal na-haq kha jatay hain aur Allah ke rah sy rok detay hain. Aur jo log sonay-chandi ka khazana rakhtay hain aur Allah ke rah main kharch nahin kerty unhain dardnaak azaab ke khabar ponhch dejeay" (9:34)

The translation is same as presented by Misbah Malik. It might be an error.

My dear i need the exact verse and surrah number of the translation in the book. Can you find it for me?
I tried my best but I could not find, in the whole Quran, such translation.

Surah At-Tauba 9:34-35
|
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنَ الۡاَحۡبَارِ وَالرُّهۡبَانِ لَيَاۡكُلُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالۡبَاطِلِ وَيَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ​ؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ يَكۡنِزُوۡنَ الذَّهَبَ وَالۡفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنۡفِقُوۡنَهَا فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِۙ فَبَشِّرۡهُمۡ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيۡمٍۙ‏ 
[9:34] Believers! Many of the rabbis and monks wrongfully devour mankind's possessions and hinder people from the Way of Allah.33 And there are those who amass gold and silver and do not spend it in the Way of Allah. Announce to them the tidings of a painful chastisement

Sahih International
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.

25:44



Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.

Here it is,
Al Quran 8:22

"Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason."
