Default Techniques for craming Dates!!

Friends; What are the techniques that you use to cram dates?? Because without substance we shouldn't be expecting good score in CSS, especially in Pak Affairs.

Here is my technique. Go through as many past papers as you can, also consult seniors and syllabus for any matter of importance, make notes of all important dates that have been asked in papers and suggested by seniors, and place those notes in a safe for now. Take them out and skim through them a day or two before respective paper. Simple .

There are books which include major issues in a chronological order. These books are very helpfull for memorising.

Smile Take it like a story

My technique is that, I take such kind of subjects (Pak Affairs, History etc) as story. I read the events by time line. I read first the thing which happened first. Then the next event But by connecting one event by other, so it becomes like a chain, therefore it become easy for me at what stage what was happened, so to guess or recall the date becomes easy. To remember the exact dates, I connect these with date of births or mobile numbers of my friends if matching with the date.
Suppose my preparation of Pak Affairs:
I studied in detail but telling here briefly:-
In near about 2600 BC Indus Valley civilization evolved.
(It is easy to remember the figure 2600 BC as it is a round and even figure)
Most probably in about 1700 BC Aryans invaded the region in search of grazing lands for their animals and destroyed the Indus Valley Civilization and established Caste system and gods made of natural things, they brought book Veda and Hinduism flourished from it.
(1700 BC is also a round figure and easy to be remembered)
Many invaders came (Budha preached for equality, Gandhara culture was flourished) but the most significant was Alexander the great who entered the region through Gomal Pass in 327 BC and invaded till Ganges Valley. His officers refused to go further. He reached Multan and fought a battle and got injured, these injuries caused his sickness which later on caused his death.
(327 BC here 3 is added up with its cube 27 making it 327)
Grand father of Ashoka named as Chandragupta Maurya invaded and captured the region in 321 BC. Who was succeeded by his son and later on by his grand son Ashoka.
(321 BC here 321 is easy to be remembered as it is the code of Warid Mobile Sims )
No one can forget 712 AD when Muhammad Bin Qasim defeated Raja Dahir and Muslims held their firm feet on this land.
(712 are the last three numbers of mu friend's mobile number)

Hope you would have understood.
If you want me to proceed further among the history of the region, please submit your feedback.

It might be complicated to understand the technique. But it is too easy to be processed by mind. I use this technique because it suits my mind. May be it is not suitable for others.

technique ; write the dates in a piece of paper, put it on the wall, let your mind process it and answer what event is represented by each date. help your brain a few times by telling it the answer, then see the wonders!!!
